Moxilux KT combines Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v, Ketorolac Tromethamine 0.4% w/v and Carboxymethyl Cellulose Sodium 0.5% w/v in a sterile ophthalmic solution for post-operative ocular inflammation and infection prophylaxis.
Moxifloxacin is a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone with broad-spectrum bactericidal activity. Ketorolac Tromethamine is a potent NSAID that reduces prostaglandin-mediated inflammation, pain and photophobia without steroid-related IOP rise. Carboxymethyl Cellulose enhances ocular surface retention, lubrication and comfort.
Supplied as 10ml sterile ophthalmic solution in a white LDPE dropper bottle with tamper-evident cap and outer carton. Use as directed by the ophthalmologist — commonly one drop four times daily beginning 24 hours after surgery and continuing through the early post-operative period as per protocol.
